What is Sports Performance?

OUR DEFINITION

The goal of sports performance is to help you improve your athletic attributes to make you more prepared for your sport, while also reducing your potential for injury.

In each of our DC-based programs, we will work on the components needed to become a better athlete based on the age and skill level of the athlete.

BUILDING BETTER DC ATHLETES

Our programs for younger athletes (4-8th graders) focus more on creating a solid foundation of movement skills, fitness, and athletic positioning to prevent injuries and issues as they get older. This is the best time to teach the necessary skills to run fast, jump high and control their bodies before they hit a growth spurt.

Our programs for high school and college-age athletes are in-depth, all-inclusive programs to teach and train all of the components of athletic development.

This includes the following components:

  • Speed, agility, quickness
  • Explosive Power
  • Strength
  • Energy System Development
  • Flexibility/Mobility
  • Nutrition Education
  • Injury Reduction

We want to make to make sure all our athletes are prepared for their upcoming season.

Don't worry we'll also make sure to have as much fun as possible during the process to become a better DC athlete.

We are one week out from the start of our spring programs. If you are interested in learning how we can help you to become a better athlete contact us at info@projectathletedc.com to set up your first workout for free.
