Get to Know Coach Andy

What sports did you play growing up?

I played anything and everything (minus baseball). I played lacrosse and football throughout high school and swam pretty competitively every summer. From the first time I picked up a lacrosse stick in fourth grade I was in love with the game and knew I wanted to play in college. I was lucky enough to get recruited and played lacrosse for four years at The College of Wooster in Ohio.

Favorite Team?

I am a sport agnostic. I don’t have a favorite sports team anymore. As a kid, I had my heart broken by the Cowboys a few too many times. So now I just love watching sports played at a high level. There is always so much to learn from good players and great teams.

Favorite post-workout food?

I’d have to say steak and eggs. But that’s also my favorite pre-workout food. And any meal of the day food... I think I just like steak and eggs.

Current training goal?

Stay healthy and strong enough to dominate in my old-man lacrosse league and to be faster in a 100-meter sprint than a middle-aged lawyer riding on a BIRD electric scooter.
